What are the dates for Stack Fest?

Where is Stack Fest taking place?

The innovation & technology campus, ‘Here East’. Address is: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 14 E Bay Ln, Hackney Wick, London E15 2GW.

What time does the festival start and end?

The full programme of sessions & activities will be available on the website soon.

Which day should I attend?

That’s entirely up to you! Here is what each day of the festival means:

09.09.21 “Esports Ambition” is our Industry Day. If you are a business or individual who wishes to develop/market/sell products to or engage with players and audiences in the esports industry, tickets are availble to buy on the website now!

10.09.21 “Talent Aspiration” is led by Stack Fest Education partner, Staffordshire University London. If you are a person/student looking for training/employment opportunities in the esports sector, or want to network with future employers or seek advice on how to get into the esports industry, this day is for you. Tickets are available to buy on 19th May.

11.09.21 “Player Action” is for everyone. If you are interested in esports and games and want a fun day out with friends/family playing games & meeting pro players, then look no further! Tickets are available to buy on 19th May.

How much are the tickets?

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets for Esports Ambition on 09.09.21 are available to purchase here, through credit/debit card.

Your ticket will be emailed to you using the email address that you provide. Please check your spam folders before contacting us about a lost ticket, as we get a large volume of email and are a small team.

I can’t come for the whole thing. Do you sell weekend or day tickets?

The festival is not designed for you to attend the whole thing so that is okay! You just need to select which day/days you’d like to attend when you buy your ticket.

I can't find ticket confirmation - help!

Please check your spam folders before contacting us about a lost ticket. Double check which email address you booked with. Your ticket will be automatically sent to the email address you used to book with.

I can no longer attend the festival. Can I get a refund?

Should government restrictions come into force at the time of the festival we will review our options of moving the festival or pivoting to a digital format. As a much-valued customer of STACK Fest you will have the choice of what you would like to do in such circumstances with your ticket purchase. The festival management will automatically switch your ticket to the revised date, likely to be held in 2022, or to the new alternative format on the same date, and will also offer a ticket face-value refund back to you and cancel your ticket if you would prefer that refund option.

How do I become a festival exhibitor?

Our exhibitors are referred to as ‘Promos’ at Stack Fest. If you are interested in becoming a Promo at the event, please email sfbrands@hollandalexander.com

I have a disability and would like to know if Stack Fest will be able to accommodate my requirements, who do I contact?

If you would like support with planning your day please contact sfcontactus@hollandalexander.com. Our dedicated team are on hand to assist you with any questions/requirements you may have and we will do our best to accommodate them. The venue is a completely wheelchair accessible site, however do let us know how we can ensure we meet your specific needs or if you would like support in accommodating a sensory disability.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry but we can’t allow any dogs on site, unless registered Guide or Hearing dogs. If you arrive with your dog you will NOT be permitted access to the event. Anyone found to have brought their dog on site will be asked to leave and will have their wristband removed.

Can I buy food at the Festival?

Yes, there will be food vendors & vans at the event.

COVID Related Questions

How will Stack Fest be different due to COVID regulations?

Safety measures in line with the latest government advice at the time will be in place and we will announce these closer to the event on our website and social media accounts. Repeat sessions and talks so that everyone is able to enjoy the event will also be available.

What happens if you cancel the event?

We will either refund your ticket or ask if you’d like to hold the ticket for the new date of the festival. Cancelling the event will be our very last option, we would postpone to another date.

What happens if I cannot attend due to being told to self-isolate or due to COVID-related illness?

If government guidelines prevent you being able to attend the event, we will offer you a ticket face-value refund and cancel your ticket. Please contact sfcontactus@hollandalexander if you have an issue like this and we’ll work it out with you. All Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing a ticket, as purchase constitutes acceptance of them, both by you and any other party you buy tickets for.

T&Cs

PERSONAL DATA

Unless you specifically consent to our using it for other purposes, we will only process the personal data you provide when you purchase tickets for our events for the purposes of operating the event, allowing you entry to the event, and for our own internal purposes (including, but not limited to, determining improvements that can be made to our future events). Such processing will be in accordance with the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation, or any successor legislation that applies in the UK. Except where the context requires otherwise, the terms of the privacy policy published on our website will apply to our processing of your personal data.

Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations

Global Pandemic considerations: The UK Government roadmap forecasts that when STACK Fest 2021 is due to be held there will be little, or none, domestic restrictions in place such as reducing the capacity, or the style of event that can take place. The event has been designed to maximise outdoor space wherever possible. Should restrictions come into force at the time of the festival we will review our options of moving the festival or pivoting to a digital format.

As a much-valued customer of STACK Fest you will have the choice of what you would like to do in such circumstances with your ticket purchase.

Booking fees however are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they pay for credit card processing fees, ticket agent fees and admin fees that come with processing of the tickets. If you need to request a face-value refund please use our contact form on our website. You are also more than welcome to sell your tickets on, just let us know the new ticket holders information by using our contact form, so we can change the details.

NAME CHANGES: Ticket BUYERS can request to change Attendee name/s ONCE, by contacting us via sfcontactus@hollandalexander.com by 9th August 2021. Please make sure that you purchase the correct ticket for your needs and are that the NAMED people on each ticket are able to attend the event before buying. TRANSFERS: If you wish or need to sell your ticket to someone else then we will ONLY accept ticket exchanges that have been issued and administered by our team. If you have bought a ticket from someone via another platform (eg. Facebook/Ebay) and the name on the ticket doesn’t match your ID, you’ll be refused entry.

FESTIVAL ENTRY

Only customers holding a valid e-Ticket for the Event date will be admitted to the Event. Tickets are uniquely named, bar-coded and allow one person entry. It is your responsibility to arrive at the festival site with a valid, printed e-ticket, and you MUST present additional ID to confirm it is your ticket. Valid ID = Bank card/Drivers’ License/Utility Bill. We will do everything in our power to ensure that only the named ticket holder in each instance gains access to the site, but cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen tickets or ID’s. On arrival at the Festival site, your unique ticket barcode will be scanned, and you will be given a festival wristband, which must be worn at all times through the duration of the event. You will be asked to show this to gain admission to the Main Arena, and other site areas. Anyone who is unable to present a valid wristband on request from any of the Stack Fest team or Security staff will be asked to leave the site, so please keep your wristband safe. If for any reason tickets are to be refunded, you will receive the face value cost of your tickets as booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS

Children & Young Adults are very welcome at Stack Fest, but remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times. All attendees under the age of 18 (whether Infant, Child or Young Adult tickets) MUST be accompanied ON ENTRY by a paying adult over 21 years of age, and this adult’s contact details will be written on the Child/Under 18’s wristband. No accompanying 21+ adult? No entry. It is your responsibility to ascertain the suitability of the event for any children in your party, considering such factors as curfew times, appropriateness of music, size of event etc.

DOGS

ALCOHOL

The event will operate several fully licensed and affordable bars, and only those over the age of 18 will be served (ID Required) Stack Fest will have a Challenge 21 policy, and you will be asked to provide ID even if you are over 18. NO ALCOHOL purchased off the premises will be allowed onto the main festival site under any circumstances, and the staff reserve the right to confiscate and destroy and alcohol being drunk on the main site that was not bought here.

FOOD

There will be plenty of food stalls/vans serving a variety of meals and snacks throughout the day. You are welcome to bring your own snacks.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the unlikely event that Stack Fest is postponed due to force majeure (unforeseeable circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract), tickets will be automatically be moved across to the postponed dates, there is nothing you will have to do, the team will take care of this for you. We can offer face-value refunds if you cannot make any date changes. Booking fees however are non-refundable under any circumstances as they pay for credit card processing fees, ticket agent fees and admin fees that come with processing of the tickets. You are also more than welcome to sell your tickets on, just let us know the new ticket holders information by using our contact form, so we can change the details.

THINGS TO LEAVE AT HOME

The following items will NOT be permitted in the campsite: Personal stereos, Glass bottles, fireworks, Chinese lanterns, and weapons of any kind.

SAFETY FOR ALL

Anti-social behaviour and activities, including any behaviour which the festival staff and stewards feel may significantly affect the enjoyment of other persons at the event, will not be tolerated and you will be ejected without refund.
