The “Talent Aspiration” day will offer an array of academic and industry-led sessions on how to take your next steps, wherever you are on your esports or games career journey. Join us at Stack Fest to discover how you can develop your talent and skills and turn your aspirations into a reality.

Led by Education Partner, Staffordshire University London (SUL), "Talent Aspiration" sees a wide listing of sessions on how to build your passion for esports and games into an experience-rich and healthy career.

Stack Fest will offer a deep dive into careers surrounding esports and games. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions ranging from keynotes, workshops and interactive exhibits led by SUL academic and industry experts. From games design to esports broadcasting, event hosting and community management, these sessions will offer a taste into the types of jobs and skills that keep the esports and games industries running.

In addition to bespoke SUL sessions you will be offered guided tours of the SUL campus and on site Here East studios to allow you to really get a feel for the site. Panel discussions will also be hosted on the “Playbook Stage” featuring leading industry experts discussing and sharing their inside knowledge around industry recruitment, events and communications, diversity and inclusion and building a pro team. These sessions will be brought to you by both esports/game brands and pro teams/players that you'll be super-familiar with.

TICKET HOLDER EXPERIENCES

You will learn what it takes to work in the esports and games industries and how to transform a passion for gaming into a career. Sessions will cover a wide selection of industry focused games design and development routes, professional esports industry experiences including community management, tournament operation, esports broadcasting, casting and commentating, ruleset design, and performance management. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the historical factors which have shaped how the contemporary esports and games industries operate and function today, as well as the future direction of esports and games. Interactive exhibits will be accessible throughout the day, with multiple stages of industry keynotes and workshops across the festival site including SUL’s state of the art campus.

By participating in SUL industry expert led workshops you will also learn of the professional requirements of these specialised esports and games jobs and how to position yourself as an attractive candidate for a prospective career in esports and games, supporting you to make your way to your next level.
